Join us as we step back in time for a weekend of Regency Revels.
Enjoy the elegance of the Regency era with a captivating weekend at West Horsley Place. Wander the manor house and grounds as we share stories from our Regency past, take part in immersive dance workshops, sample authentic period food, and explore Jane Austen’s Surrey connections with West Horsley Place and beyond. With hands-on activities, lively talks, and more still to be revealed, it’s a perfect escape into the charm, culture, and romance of the early 19th century.

6 June 2026 - Zoffany Picnic - Georgian dancing & music at the Garrick Temple
A day of Georgian culture inspired by the newly-restored paintings by Zoffany inside Garrick's Temple. Dance some elegant Georgian dances with Mrs Bennet who will lead and teach Georgian dances during the afternoon. The Capability Consort will accompany the dancing and play trios by Haydn and Oswald during the evening.
Dress code: Georgian dress (Regency is welcome too).

Dress up and put on your best shoes for this fabulous ball with live music and regency style dancing!
Celebrate Jane Austen with Maidstone Museum. Austen’s brother, Edward, lived at Godmersham Park, becoming an inspiration for her novels. Dance in our gorgeous historic setting with live period music by Vicki & Jonny Duo.

A weekend of dance with workshops including beginners wrokshop, a welcome dance and a Regency Ball with the Vicki & Jonny Duo, on the wonderful maple wood sprung floor in the largest ballroom on the island! We live the Regency life for a weekend and stay in costume all day and evening!

Tea Dances
Our popular tea dances with live music from the Grimstock Players. Dancing our favourite Regency dances, taking tea on the terrace in convivial company! At our venue St Marks's Church hall in Surbiton.
Winter Balls
Our annual winter Regency Ball! Dancing to the live music. A fun, friendly ball with a sumptious buffet in the wonderful venue of the Assembly Room at RHN Putney.
